On the same week where we all celebrate the birth of American independence on July 4th, the Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators will keep the celebration going on July 6th & 7th, honoring our Military and First Responders who put their lives on the line every single day!
Saturday July 6th is Military Appreciation Night, where all veterans and active military get in FREE with valid identification! Various branches of our military will be in attendance, with several special guests throwing out the first pitch. It’s also $2 Hot Dog Night at the ballpark, so make sure to come with an appetite! Kids will be able to run the bases postgame. Gates open at 6:00pm, with first pitch taking place at 7:00pm.
Sunday July 7th is Guns N’ Hoses Night, as we’re honoring and recognizing our local First Responders, who make a huge impact on all of our lives! All First Responders will get FREE admission with valid identification. There will be a special Family Tailgate from 2-4p right outside the ballpark, with food, games, and even static vehicles (SWAT, Fire, Police, etc.) on display for everyone to check out! Kids will be able to run the bases postgame and receive autographs from the players. Gates open at 4:00pm, and first pitch will be at a special 5:00pm start time.
