Lake Charles, La. (April 7, 2025) — The Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators are thrilled to announce that their 2025 Home Opener on June 3rd will feature FREE admission for all fans, courtesy of the Navarre Auto Group.

The Gators will kick off their season with an exciting showdown against the Acadiana Cane Cutters in the highly anticipated second edition of the Battle of 337 Rivalry—one of the most intense and thrilling rivalries in the Texas Collegiate League.

Quickly becoming a fan favorite, the Battle of 337 is known for its fierce competition and high-energy atmosphere. This year’s matchup promises to deliver another unforgettable chapter in the rivalry.

“We’re thrilled to kick off the season with such an exciting event, and we couldn’t be more grateful to Navarre Auto Group for making it possible,” said Aaron Castete, Director of Operations for the Gumbeaux Gators. “The Battle of 337 is always a highlight of our season, and with free admission and all the added festivities, we’re confident it will be an unforgettable night for everyone.”

The 2025 Home Opener will also feature a festive in-game Mardi Gras Parade, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening. Fans can enjoy a special Mardi Gras-themed drink, available exclusively on Tuesdays throughout the season.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to take in all the festivities, with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. and first pitch scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Joe Miller Ballpark.
