Lake Charles, La. (November 15, 2024) — The Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators are excited to announce the release of the 2025 Texas Collegiate League Regular Season Schedule. The team will return for its second season of action, following a historic 2024 Inaugural Season.
The 2025 Texas Collegiate League Season will consist of 48 regular season games, with 24 of those being played at the team’s home venue, the iconic Joe Miller Ballpark. Fans can expect a thrilling minor league baseball atmosphere to return this coming summer, with top-notch talent, exciting new promotions, and a great family-friendly environment.
On June 3rd, the Gumbeaux Gators will kick off their 2025 season at home, where they will face their rivals, the Acadiana Cane Cutters. This season marks the second installment of the Battle of 337 Rivalry, a highly anticipated series that has quickly gained a reputation for its intensity and competitiveness. Other important dates feature a home game on the 4th of July against the Brazos Valley Bombers, along with the expected return of the fan-favorite Christmas in July celebration on July 25th, when the Baton Rouge Rougarou come to town.
