Internship Opportunities – What to Expect

The Gumbeaux Gators are offering two distinct sets of internships, each focusing on different aspects of their operations.

  1. Spring 2025 Internship – Sponsorships & Promotions
    In the Spring, students will have the chance to work directly with the organization, helping to secure local sponsorships and support key promotional activities. Interns will also play an important role in assisting with organizing the Field of Dreams promotion signups. There will also be occasional  in-person marketing events around the community that interns will assist with. This internship is perfect for students interested in the business side of sports, community outreach, and fan engagement.Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the organization with sponsorships and partnerships
    • Assist with the promotion and signups for the Field of Dreams program
    • Help organize and execute marketing events in the community
    • Engage with fans to enhance their experience.
  2. Summer 2025 Gameday Internship – Event Management & Fan Engagement
    The Summer internship focuses on gaining direct experience with event logistics, fan engagement, and gameday operations. Interns will assist with everything from behind-the-scenes coordination to enhancing the live-event experience. This is an ideal position for students looking to learn the ins and outs of event management, sports marketing, and fan relations. There are also opportunities for Photographers, Social Media/Graphic Designers, and even Videographers.Key Responsibilities:

    • Support event logistics and behind-the-scenes coordination
    • Assist with promotional activities, giveaways, and fan interactions
    • Help set up and break down event spaces
    • Engage with fans, providing exceptional service and creating an unforgettable gameday experience
    • Occasionally help with Social Media management.
